WaveTools V2 is the latest generation of ocean surface generating software. Designed specifically with games and realtime simulation in mind, WaveTools V2 generates fully shaded ocean surface data in software at framerates suitable for today's high throughput gaming environment. At the same time, WaveTools V2 has a more sophisticated architecture than WaveTools V1 that allows you the developer to create your own types of ocean surfaces and integrate them with WaveTools generated ones.
WaveTools V2 lets you simulate wakes from vessels maneuvering on the ocean surface, even in systems where the user is navigating the ship in realtime. The shallow water facility lets the user provide a map of bottom depth, and WaveTools V2 simulates waves approaching a shore. Integration facilities let you build a complex ocean surface from many component surfaces.
