WaveTools V1 is a robust and production tested tool. Consisting of a C++ library and three header files, its programming API is very simple and lets you get ocean surface simulation into your application in minutes. Creating an ocean surface with default ocean settings is as simple as
WaveSurfer manager;
WaveSurface * wave = manager.NewChoppyOceanWave();
In addition to ocean waves, WaveTools V1 also generates boat wakes for vessels with arbitrary maneuvering. There is also a summing utility to integrate together many ocean surfaces and wakes into a single complex wave surface.
